Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
